FRATELLI MAKES A WINNING DEBUT IN JAPAN
Fratelli, an Australian bred two-year-old by FRANKEL, made a winning start to his career at Hanshin on Saturday (17th March) for owner Kazumi Yoshida.
Fratelli won by a length and a quarter over 1800m, made more impressive by the fact that he was running against Northern Hemisphere three-year-olds. He was bred by China Horse Club and bought for $850,000 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale last year by Yoshida. He is the first winner out of Lovetorn, a stakes-winning Giant's Causeway mare.
This year's renewal of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale features two Frankel yearlings, colts out of Acts Of Grace - pictured right - and Aqua Bella. Click here to view their pedigrees.
